Vivier Boats
Chase Small Craft is pleased and proud to be the exclusive kit agent for these three exceptional Vivier boats, Ilur, Morbic 12, and Jewell. Clint was lucky to begin his career in boats with Francois Vivier’s kits and collaborations, in particular the JEWELL, a perfect family daysailer and weekender. Now, these boats are part of the system Clint has developed to produce the most complete boat kits available on the market with many features and benefits found no where else in the world of boat kits.
Morbic 12
The Morbic 12 is the best 12’ sailing dinghy you will find. It feels larger, is stable, high performance, and beautiful. With two sail rig options and the complete kit and detailed instructions, this boat is totally suitable for beginner construction.
Lilou 2
Lilou 2 is a large, stitch-and-glue constructed, classic opne-daysailer with a SS centerboard and an inboard motor well. Available as a sloop or lug-yawl complete kit, the boat is large enough to fit the whole family and easy enough to build for an advanced beginner.
ILUR
This wonderful 14-foot boat is capturing the heart of Americans. She feels bigger than she is, and is safe and stable. This is a challenging kit for a beginner but our complete kit puts it is within the reach of beginners with hands-on skills.
Jewell 6m
She was a design collaboration between Clint and Francois in 2010 to be a family-friendly daysailer and weekender with the waters off the coast of Maine in mind. At nearly 20-feet and 7-foot beam, she is not a small kit and best suited for people who have built a smaller boat before.
Kerisper
Kerisper is a classic 16’ powerboat for day sailing and fishing, in sheltered waters as well as in open sea and we are the only folks in the US and Canada who can offer a complete kit for this power skiff, the nicest power skiff we think available as a kit. Kerisper can either be tiller steered or set up with a wheeled, side-console.
Stir-ven 19
As of summer 2022, we are offering a Stir-Ven 19 complete kit with everything in it. This daysailer comes in an open and a cuddy-cabin version. Featuring a NACA shape, steel centerboard, it is quite a performer. We will have more information soon!
