Sails custom crafted for your boat

Made exclusively for Chase Small Craft

Our sails are designed in collaboration with two fantastic sailmaking firms that we have known for a long time. They make sails to fit each model - sail size, shape, and layout - and we take advantage of their vast wealth of knowledge to make each sail right. Their sails make our boats look more beautiful than we could have imagined and outperform all other sails in their class. This is the result of long discussions about sail shape and rigging that have brought about great results!

Standard Sails include:

  • 4-5 oz Dacron, white cloth (cream and tanbark available)

  • 18-36" wide panels (per sail plan), reinforced along luff

  • grommets and rings w/ reinforcements for lacing and lashing

  • reef points as indicated on sail plans / typically 2-3

  • Sail bags available

Gambell & Hunter’s work is exquisite with leathered corners and hand-stitched effects. G & H is located in Camden, Maine.
