The Calico Skiff combines all the proven features and performance of the Compass Skiffs and the Echo Bays to offer a wonderful, all around great skiff for motor, sail and row. The 10 and 12' Compass Skiff was designed utilizing the tab-n-lock construction method used in all the easy-to-build kits, making the kit practically build itself. One of our most popular and long-standing kits, they have been built all over and are a typical model of choice for the week long build-your-own classes.

Well over 50 have been built and for good reason: the EBDS is beautiful, classic, and easy to build. The EBDS is a nimble and light boat that sails and rows like a dream. Sailing and rowing versions are available. This model is a best seller and one of the more popular models for build-your-own boat classes.

Now available in dedicated rowing and sailing versions, these Caravelle Skiffs can be built as a great small daysailer for easy rowing or choose the Caravelle Rower as a dedicated rowboat for solo or tandem rowing.

We received enough requests for a Dory that was smaller than the Deblois Street but not les than 15.5’ overall. We have also long wanted to develop another dory design in this size range mainly for rowing and another based on the Vivier Doris for sailing, but refined dories that utilize out trademark kit construction. They will take a cooler and a load of kids out fishing and delight the builder for a solo row around the lake. This Dory builds without the need for a strongback using our Tab-n-Lock system and can be built by first-time builders.

This 13.5’ recreational kayak will turn heads every time you launch. Light, stable and easy to paddle - it will be a delight in every way. She is planked with 4mm Okoume planking and 6mm frames in stitch-and-glue style with our trademark Tab-n-Lock system making it a snap.
