The Morbic 12 was first built in the States from our kit here in Maine by school kids at the Compass Project. This 12-footer feels huge for a 12-foot boat and sails beautifully.
Pictured here is Waxwing, masterfully built and sailed by one of our first kit customers, John Hartmann in Vermont. This 14-foot boat feels bigger than its length suggests and is at home in big lake and ocean waters. (photo credit: Christophe Matson)
This is the first Jewell built in Maine from a Chase Small Craft kit, by French & Webb Boatbuilders, the boat, named Leilu, sails in the lakes and coastal waters of Maine. She is used extensively for weekending on the coast of Maine.
